In the Eyes of a Three Year Old

I cannot believe some days that my first little HypnoBirthing baby is already 3 years old. It seems like not that long ago that I was preparing for her Birth Day, wondering who she would be. I can tell you that parenting is the greatest gift and challenge I have ever been given, and I was so fortunate to find my calling through one of the most incredible journeys of my life. I love that I can work and give of myself while remaining an involved mother, and it is fun seeing what my girls think of my classes and attending births. Last week I had the privilege of going to Denver for a day and a half to be present at a dear friend's birth. My husband told me when I got home that Laura (my three year old) had told him, "Mommy went with Natalie to the baby store to help her get her baby". Such a sweet idea from my little girl, and while it is usually not that easy, I am so happy to "be present" at births and to someday share what this really means with my girls.
